Commonwealth Bank has begun to install solar across Australia on a number of selected CBA sites. The solar systems are located in NSW, ACT, SA, WA and Victoria on a range of bank branches. The locations were chosen after viability assessments which looked at: power rates, suitable roof space and the building use.
The system performance is monitored against expectations to ensure that the bank is achieving the expected outcome. In addition, a publicly available portal is viewable at http://cbasolarpower.com.au/ which records the instantaneous and historical output of each system.
